One has just about 9000 eng hrs, the other somewhere around 5000. if you don't, all them hinges, pins, and suspension cylinders are garbage.
Regular maintainence and a bit of luck I guess, but I consider them just about bullet proof. I think its a combination of both things, some guys fly across the field and some guys like my dad puts around at 9-10mph, it adds up hours quick but keeps our acre counter low, i think canadian spraying conditions are a bit different than australia, but id say 2000 hours is still ok, the 4730 are good sprayers imo Just traded my 4730, had only 1600 engine hours, went mostly 9mph, but the booms went through war, as my terrain is very hard on sprayers. First and foremost, look how bent up the booms are, and any signs of welding... Also check to see how well guys greased the suspensions and boom lift cylinders, as I greased my unit top to bottom every 10hrs...
